1/4 cup chia seeds
3/4 cup oats
2 cups milk. I usually use oat milk for this recipe.
2 tbsp cacao
1 tablespoon maple syrup
raspberries and peanut butter to serve…or passionfruit curd for a dessert option
- Pour chia seeds, oats, milk, cacao and maple in to an airtight container and stir to combine. The ingredients wont fully mix together at this stage – don’t worry about it. Just give it a rough stir.
- Put lid on and store in the fridge overnight, ready for brekky.
- Just prior to serving, stir thoroughly. The chia and cacao will have absorbed liquid and will now be easy to stir evenly.
- Place frozen berries of your choosing in the bottom of a bowl or glass. Top with choc chia oat mix and add a spoonful of peanut butter.
- Serve, stir and enjoy.
